讲座简介:

The acceptance of direct anaerobic treatment for municipal sewage based on high-rate anaerobic systems, such as UASB reactors, has been increased during the last decade.

Since the introduction of this treatment option in the mid-1980s, nowadays there are hundreds of full-scale plants in operation in various parts of the intertropical world, mostly in Latin America and India.

The course will revise the advantages and limitations of this technology, particularly adapted for developing countries in warm climate regions. The current design criteria and post-treatment options will be presented and discussed. Emphasis will be put on control of odor problems and greenhouse gas (methane) emissions. Resource recovery (biogas and nutrients will also be addressed, in the framework of sustainability.

在过去的十年中,基于UASB反应器等高速率厌氧系统的城市污水的直接厌氧处理越来越多。 自从20世纪80年代中期引入废水处理方案以来,目前在热带地区有近数百家工厂在采用这项技术处理污水废水,大部分在拉丁美洲和印度。 本课程将主要讲解这项技术的优势和局限性,特别适用于温暖气候地区的发展中国家;进一步提出和讨论目前的设计标准和治疗方案;重点是讨论控制气味问题和温室气体(甲烷)的排放,以及资源回收(包括沼气和营养物质等)。
