3月7日，我校与广东医科大学签署合作协议，共建松山湖医工融合创新中心、医工联合创新学院。接下来，双方将以此为契机，充分发挥高校优势，加强跨学科领域合作，携手共创“新工科+新医科”的实践典范。
On March 7th, 2022, DGUT signed a cooperation agreement with Guangdong Medical University to jointly build Songshan Lake Medical Science and Engineering Courses Integration and Innovation Center & Medical Science and Engineering Courses Joint Innovation College. Following this, the two sides will take this opportunity to give full play to the advantages of the two universities, strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation and jointly create a practical model of “new engineering + new medical science.”
东莞市委副书记、松山湖党工委书记刘炜，广东医科大学党委书记、校长卢景辉，我校党委副书记、校长马宏伟出席并致辞。我校学术委员会主任李琳，校领导杨敏林、李文芳，相关职能部门负责人和二级学院院长、教授，广东医科大学校领导丁元林、刘新光、邝卫红、曾志嵘及相关部门负责人，东莞市科技局、松山湖党工委和松山湖科技教育局等有关负责人参加签约仪式。
Liu Wei, Deputy Secretary of Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of Songshan Lake Party Working Committee, Lu Jinghui, Secretary of Party Committee and President of Guangdong Medical University, and Ma Hongwei, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and President of DGUT attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Lilin, Director of the Academic Committee of DGUT, school leaders Yang Minlin and Li Wenfang, heads of relevant functional departments, deans and professors from secondary schools, leaders of Guangdong Medical University—Ding Yuanlin, Liu Xinguang, Kuang Weihong, and Zeng Zhirong and heads of relevant departments, and heads of Dongguan Science and Technology Bureau, Songshan Lake Party Working Committee and Songshan Lake Science and Technology Education Bureau were all present at this event.
卢景辉表示，广东医科大学将以此次签约为契机，围绕国家发展战略重大需求，整合与东莞理工学院在生物医药和理工领域的优势，瞄准医工交叉融合学科前沿，携手在康复辅助器具、智能医药与健康、生物力学、新型生物材料等领域开展医工融合深度合作，通过学科专业交叉，在医工融合领域大力推动科学研究新机制、人才培养新模式、产教融合新探索，构建医工融合发展共同体，为东莞科技创新和大健康产业发展提供源头活力和智力支撑。
Lu Jinghui said that Guangdong Medical University would take this as an opportunity and take the needs of national development strategy into account to integrate with DGUT’s advantages in biomedicine and engineering fields. They will focus at the forefront of medical science and engineering courses integration, jointly carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of rehabilitation assistive devices, intelligent medicine and health, biomechanics, new biological materials, etc. Through interdisciplinary research, they will wholeheartedly promote new mechanisms of scientific research, new modes of talent training, and new exploration of industry-education integration in the field of medical science and engineering courses integration. They aim to build a medical science and engineering courses integration development community, and provide source vitality and intellectual support for technological innovation and big health industry development in Dongguan.
签约仪式上，马宏伟介绍了我校近年来在主动服务支撑广东和东莞制造发展、主动融入和服务大湾区综合性国家科学中心先行启动区建设方面的举措和取得的成就。他指出，在省委省政府、市委市政府的大力支持下，学校在人才引进培育、学科专业调整优化、重大项目平台建设、科技产业创新服务、现代产业学院建设、国际化战略实施等方面实现了重点突破，新型高水平理工科大学示范校建设取得显著阶段性成效，形成加速向上向好的发展态势，创造了地方高校超常规发展的“莞工模式”。
At the signing ceremony, Ma Hongwei introduced DGUT’s initiatives and achievements in providing active services to support manufacturing development in Guangdong and Dongguan, and actively integrating into and serving the development of the first startup area of the comprehensive national science center in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in recent years. He pointed out that with strong support from the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Government and Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, DGUT has made breakthroughs in talent introduction and education, adjustment and optimization of disciplines and majors, construction of major project platforms, innovative service of science and technology industry, development of modern industrial colleges, and implementation of internationalization strategy. The development of a model university of new high-level science and engineering has achieved remarkable progress in the current stage, presenting upward and positive development trends, and has created the “DGUT Model” for extraordinary development of local colleges and universities.
马宏伟表示，东莞理工学院和广东医科大学作为松山湖科学城的两所本科院校，具有地域相邻、学科互补的天然优势和坚实的合作基础，此次合作正是天时、地利、人和的生动展示。接下来学校将和广东医科大学一道，大力推动松山湖医工融合创新中心和医工联合创新学院建设，全面深化战略合作，充分发挥双方在生物医药和理工领域的优势，加快形成医工交叉优势与前沿技术攻关链式协同，着力培育高水平医工交叉创新团队，融合创新平台和重点实验室，构建新医科、新工科融合发展的高水平协同育人体系，打造成为校政合作、医工交叉的实践典范。
Ma Hongwei remarked that as the two universities in Songshan Lake Science Town, DGUT and Guangdong Medical University have the natural advantages of geographical proximity and complementary disciplines and a solid foundation for cooperation. This cooperation is a living demonstration of the favorable climatic, geographical, and human conditions. Next, DGUT, together with Guangdong Medical University, will heartily promote the development of Songshan Lake Medical Science and Engineering Courses Integration and Innovation Center & Medical Science and Engineering Courses Joint Innovation College, and comprehensively deepen strategic cooperation to give full play to the advantages of both universities in the field of biomedicine and science and technology. The two universities will accelerate the formation of medical science and engineering cross-course advantages and cutting-edge technology chain collaboration. Both universities will strive to develop high-level medical science and engineering cross-innovation teams and integrate innovation platforms and key laboratories to build a high-level collaborative education system for the integrated development of new medical science and new engineering and build a practical model of school-government cooperation medical science and engineering cross-innovation.
