2021年12月31日，学校在松山湖校区杨振宁教研楼举行2020-2021学年度奖学金颁奖礼。校党委书记成洪波，校党委副书记、校长马宏伟，党委委员、副校长杨敏林、李文芳，校内相关部门负责人、师生代表出席本次颁奖礼。颁奖礼由校党委副书记李忠红主持。
On December 31st, 2021, DGUT held the scholarship presentation ceremony for the 2020-2021 academic year at Yang Zhenning Teaching and Research Building in the Songshan Lake Campus. Present at the ceremony were numerous dignitaries such as secretary of the DGUT Party Committee Cheng Hongbo, deputy secretary of the DGUT Party Committee Ma Hongwei, and president of the University Yang Minlin and Li Wenfang. Also present were members of the Party Committee and vice presidents of the University, heads of relevant departments, and teacher and student representatives. Li Zhonghong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of DGUT presided over the ceremony.
2020-2021学年度学校共表彰了36个先进班集体、720名优秀大学生、766名优秀学生干部以及各类奖学金获得者5313人次。其中共有37名本科生和6名研究生获得国家奖学金，各类奖学金总金额高达1430万元。成洪波、马宏伟、杨敏林、李文芳为荣获各类奖学金、荣誉称号的代表和团队颁发荣誉证书。
In the 2020-2021 academic year, DGUT gave awards to 36 advanced classes, 720 outstanding students, 766 outstanding student leaders and 5,313 scholarship winners. Among them, 37 undergraduates and 6 postgraduates were awarded national scholarships that comes up to a total amount of RMB 14.3 million. Cheng Hongbo, Ma Hongwei, Yang Minlin, and Li Wenfang presented certificates of honor to the representatives and teams that won various scholarships and honorary titles.
由于疫情防控原因，无法进校的奖学金捐赠企业代表纷纷通过视频的形式留下祝福与鼓励：广东光大企业集团有限公司总裁陈健民勉励获奖学生要珍惜荣誉、刻苦学习、励志成才，以优异成绩报答父母、回报学校；东莞得利钟表有限公司董事长梁伟浩祝贺每位获奖的同学，希望通过奖学金能实实在在地鼓励到有理想、肯拼搏、愿意奋斗的同学们。
Due to the epidemic prevention and control policy, representatives of scholarship donors were unable to join the ceremony at the University. They expressed their wishes and encouragement through videos. Chen Jianmin, President of Guangdong Guangda Group Co., Ltd., encouraged the students to cherish the honor, study hard, be useful to society, and make their parents and DGUT proud with excellent performance. Liang Weihao, Chairman of Dongguan Dailywin Watch Co., Ltd., congratulated each of the winners. He hoped that the scholarship would encourage students who have aspirations and are willing to work hard.
