7月8日，科睿唯安公布了ESI（Essential Science Indicators，基本科学指标数据库）最新统计数据，我校材料科学（Materials Science）学科进入ESI全球前1%，这是继2020年9月我校工程科学（Engineering）学科进入ESI全球排名前1%之后，第二个进入国际高水平行列的学科，学校学科建设发展取得再突破。

On July 8th, Clarivate released the latest statistical data of ESI (Essential Science Indicators), in which the Materials Science Discipline of DGUT ranked among the top 1% of ESI in the world. It became the second discipline of DGUT to do so following the same feat by the Engineering Discipline in September 2020. This represents another breakthrough in the discipline development of DGUT.

根据最新数据，全国目前共有342所高校有学科进入全球前1%，我校在全国高校ESI的排名为第254名，较去年9月新晋入榜时提升17名，全球排名提升590名，表现强劲。

According to the latest data, there are 342 universities in China with disciplines listed in the top 1% of ESI in the world. DGUT ranks 254th in the national ESI ranking. It advanced 17 places compared to last year when it was newly ranked in last September, and advanced 590 places in the global ranking, showing excellent performance.
