7月3日，国际设计领域最具影响力的设计竞赛、世界三大设计奖之一“红点奖”结果揭晓，我校粤台产业科技学院工业设计系蔡旭东同学创作的作品在一万多份来自全球50多个国家设计师的参赛作品中脱颖而出，勇夺“红点奖”桂冠。

On July 3rd, the Red Dot Design Award, which is the most prestigious design competition in the international design field, and one of the top three design awards in the world, announced its list of winners. The work presented by Cai Xudong from the Industrial Design Department of School of Guangdong-Taiwan Industry Science and Technology beat more than 10,000 design works from over 50 countries to win the “Red Dot” award.

蔡旭东同学的作品“Shadow”是一件多功能应急救援产品。它能够通过简单的扩展与变换形态后，拥有浮力助具、救生毯、简易睡袋等多种功能，可应用于紧急救援，户外探险等场景。此作品充分体现了尊重生命、关怀人性的设计理念，通过精巧的设计给遇到危急的人带来帮助，获得救助。

Cai Xudong’s work “Shadow” is a multi-functional emergency rescue product. In addition to its simple expansion and transformation, it has many functions—it can be used as a buoyancy aid, life blanket, and a simple sleeping bag, and can be used for emergency rescue, outdoor adventure, and other applications. This work fully embodies the design concept of respecting life and caring for humanity and can save many precious lives.
