课程简介：

计算机视觉是开发具有人类视觉系统能力的基于计算机的系统。它主要关注捕捉并理解数字图像。这项研究在包含了许多学科，如数字图像处理、人工智能、计算机图形和心理学等。本课程将探讨一些在现实世界的计算机视觉中使用一些基本原则和技术。

Computer vision is to develop a computer based system with the capability of the human vision system. It is mainly concerned with the problem of capturing and making sense of digital images. The study draws heavily on many subjects including digital image processing, artificial intelligence, computer graphics and psychology. This course will explore some of the basic principles and techniques from these areas currently used in real-world computer vision systems and the research and development of new systems.

授课教师及简介：

周回宇，中国籍，英国莱斯特大学计算与数学科学学院教授，在机器学习、数据挖掘和图像分析方面拥有丰富的专业知识。

在开发新的统计模型和基于深度学习的方法，来解决制造业、医疗保健、材料、地球观测、机器人和社会科学领域的问题以及研究，有着丰富的经验。
